OWSD has re-established one of its first-ever national chapters in Cuba, which had been inactive for years. It is now OWSD's 56th national chapter. The initiative comes from Cuba-based and diaspora scientists. The chapter is headquartered at the Cuban Academy of Sciences. More

Faith Kandie is a lecturer and water quality researcher at the School of Sciences and Aerospace Studies at Moi University, Kenya.
