Under a joint TWAS-S.N. Bose programme, science master's degree holders from developing countries, other than India, may pursue a five-year PhD in physical sciences at the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, in Kolkata. Deadline: 20 September.

NCP Postdoctoral fellowships in Pakistan
PhD holders from developing countries, other than Pakistan, are invited to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship under the joint TWAS-National Centre for Physics, in Islamabad. The fellowship lasts 6–12 months. Deadline: 30 August.
